The Inland Empire Energy Center (IEEC) presented a perfect and unique opportunity for Southland Paving to display a variety of capabilities all on one jobsite.
Completing this particular project required a constant awareness of the surroundings, as the site was situated on a large, electrical power plant with high voltage overhead power lines and large generators nearby. As a result, safety training and considerations were paramount.
This job allowed us to exhibit our talent and experience in trades such as mass grading, finish grading, underground utilities, base and paving, as well as more unique trades like fusion welding and an enclosed structure rocking operation.
The strategic planning skills of our Project Manager, Estimator, Foreman and organization as a whole enabled us to successfully complete a project that truly exemplifies the highly diversified general engineering firm that is Southland Paving, Inc.
